The work on PUNC e-portfolios

The authentication system through e-portfolio proposed by the consortium will engage university instructors, career counselors, students and companies to better identify, monitor and capitalize on hybrid learning opportunities for developing PUNC competences as well as validating them as students’ added value qualifications. The learning environments for PUNC competences are versatile and go beyond regular learning outcomes and methods of their achievement through instruction and self-study. The assessment and validation in typical academia settings like exams, essays, project reports, etc. will not do full justice to PUNC competences manifested during hybrid methods like innovation camps, hackathons, hatcheries, science shops, any crisis interventions, volunteering, social impact changemaking, and other company driven R+D+I projects. Authentication system will report this extra proof for qualifications developed while participating in these hybrid learning environments.

The consortium will devise e-portfolio structures, algorithms and formats for generating PUNC competence indication, provide credible (e.g. multimedia) examples and include stakeholders’ authentication ways on appreciating student achievements. The e-portfolio contents will be formatted so it could be integrated with assessment systems in the existing university curriculum and where possible with the diploma annex.
